Grimme Perils (GP) offers players a fast and fun set of 2D6-based role-play rules designed to tell stories in the gritty fantasy world of their choice. With character and story generation tables inspired by the original Grimms’ Fairy Tales and other grimdark media, GP combines player-facing combat and action rules with an easy, adventure-based character development system. Whether you prefer maps and miniatures, or theater of the mind style play, GP has you covered. Including a versatile magic system, rules for creating and generating magic items, and a bestiary of fifty foes, GP’s simple mechanics make it easy to import new spells, items, and creatures from other fantasy games. All you need to play are a few six-sided dice, a standard deck of playing cards, at least one other player, and a yearning for weird, grim, and dangerous adventure.
